Feast of St. Andrew

  1. Would you hesitate? Afraid to leave your "comfort zone"? Would you be afraid of ridicule? Even from family? God's unadulterated love comes with no "contract" no "strings attached". And so they followed him to become fishers of men.

  2. Wow - challenging isn't it! I keep reminding myself that I don't need to lose my daughter to find Christ - but that I can't make my immediate "family" more important than remembering God's family needs us too. Nonetheless, when I think of these early disciples picking up and leaving like that - it's amazing. That's the sense of the story I want to keep in touch with, the God-reality they found in that young man - that they were told was in them too. And me?

  3. I feel like some fish and chips! Brits douse them with great malt vinegar with "mushy peas" as a side, huge green peas with the texture of .... well ya gotta try them if you find them.

  4. I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit your blog. I like it. Love the illustrated calendar. It is a season for vigilance to keep our thoughts spiritualized.
